The "Old School" on Main Street in Demopolis has received a $25,000 grant from the Alabama Power Foundation for the building to be renovated into the Old School Arts Center. The funds will be used to renovate the upstairs classroom to serve as an exhibit space for Marengo County History and Archives Museum.
