Sen. Robert Stewart hosted a meeting about a proposed gas pipeline that will run through nine counties mostly in the Black Belt. The project titled SSE4 is proposing putting methane gas pipelines through Alabama. The meeting included maps showing exactly where the pipeline would go. Environmentalists also attended the meeting regarding concerns about the pipes having potentially harmful effects. Todd talks about the meeting in this segment of the Black Belt Newscast.
