The 46th Annual Historic Selma Tour of Homes will take place on March 18-19 featuring the city's notable historic buildings.Â
The event is formerly known as the Historic Selma Pilgrimage, spotlighting homes, museums, churches and Live Oak Cemetery.
The architecture of historic buildings spans Antebellum, Neo Classical, Victorian and Greek Revival styles.Â
Students from local schools are encouraged to volunteer for the occasion.Â
"This is a great exposure for your schools as well as an outstanding way to instill pride of their historic community in your students," said a press release from the organizers. "It is also a wonderful way to share our southern hospitality with visitors."
