A sixth suspect has been arrested in the case of a shooting in 2024 that left a woman paralyzed, said an announcement from Montgomery County District Attorney Ozzie Oliver on Wednesday.

On April 12 in 2024 the incident occurred at Atlanta Highway near the Eastdale Circle access when shots were fired from multiple guns. The victim, Amy Dicks, was stuck by a bullet and paralyzed from the chest down.

Since then a number of suspects have been brought into the custody. The latest was identified as Chelsea Jackson of Prattville.

Jackson has been charged with one count of assault first degree and two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle.

Oliver stated that the investigation continues and that other arrests are likely to be made.
