Alabama Lions Sight is coming to Selma on Sept. 9 to hold low cost eye exams and screenings for the insured and uninsured at its mobile unit.

The unit will offer $60 eye exam and bifocals as well as an eye exam and progressive lenses for $80. Additionally, there will be screenings and assistance for cataracts and glaucoma.

Alabama Lions Sight will also offer free transportation to and from appointments for advanced treatment.

The mobile unit travels monthly to counties throughout the state, including Dallas County.

This will be held at Edmundite Missions from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1428 Broad St. in Selma. Call 334-872-2359 to schedule appointments.
