One of Dallas County's worst roads is set to be repaved in the next year with funds announced this week.

County Road 17, which has a sink hole that brought the road to one lane recently, is set to be resurfaced from SR-22 to CR-157, as part of Rebuild Alabama Act. The 3.5 miles will cost $1,254,579 and includes matching funds.

The resurfacing is part of an Annual Grant Program under the Rebuild Alabama Act, according to an announcement from Gov. Kay Ivey. Read more here.
