The Selma Saints couldn’t keep pace with Shelby County on the road Friday night, falling 38-14 in a region matchup. 

The Saints trailed 20-6 at halftime but continued to battle in the second half, adding another score before the Wildcats pulled away late. 

The loss dropped Selma to 2-6 on the season, while Shelby County improved to 5-4. Selma will look to regroup and finish strong when they host Sipsey Valley on Friday, October 24.
