Southside vs Dallas County

In what was billed as one of the most anticipated matchups of the season, the rivalry between the Dallas County Hornets and the Southside Panthers ended in a shocking and resounding victory for Southside.

Southside dominated all four quarters, that resulted to a 74-0 shutout win on Friday night.

The game, hosted at the Hornets’ home stadium in Plantersville, had drawn local fans in droves. The Panthers exploded out of the gate, took an early lead, and never looked back. This win by the Panthers makes them 3-0 and the Hornets fall to 0-4.
 
The Hornets will play again on Friday, Sept. 19 at home against Sumter Central High School at 7 p.m.
