It was Pink Out night for the Demopolis High School Tigers Oct. 17, and they left Jemison High School tickled pink with a decisive 35-8 win.

The victory marked a record 33 consecutive region wins for the Tigers, according to the Demopolis Quarterback Club. The Tigers, 6-2 overall and 5-0 in region play, will face undefeated Northside High School at home next Friday for the region championship.

As for the Jemison game, Demopolis dominated on offence and defense from the get-go. The Tigers scored in the opening minutes of the game and never looked back. The Tigers scored two touchdowns in the first quarter and three in the second.

The plucky Jemison offense, who saw several drives stopped by turnovers, scored a touchdown and 2-point conversion late in the game to avoid a shutout.

Demopolis experienced some turnovers of their own that sent coaches and fans reaching for their pink Pepto Bismol and will need to be addressed before the crucial regional faceoff Friday.
