Distinguished Young Women competitions were held throughout the state the last few weekends to determine county winners for 2026.
Dallas County Distinguished Young Women winner is Kylie Calame with Libby Pearce as first alternate and Brooke Waters as second alternate. All three are seniors at Morgan Academy.Â
Charli Meadows won for Lowndes County. Millie Hill of Demopolis High won for Marengo County. Madison Whetstone won for Butler County. Sadee Jaynes won for Pickens County.
Lilli Turner won Distinguished Young Women of Bibb County, Leah Sowell won for Autauga County.
Distinguished Young Women is a scholarship competition. The winners in each county will compete for the state title in January in Montgomery.
