Eufaula Police Department (EPD) Detective Johnathan Millender was recently honored with the 2024 Crimestopper Officer of the Year Award. 

According to CrimeStoppers, Millender has been serving in the EPD as a narcotics detective since September 2024. 

Additionally, he helped a victim suffering from life-threatening injuries sustained by a gunshot and is a member of the EPD SWAT team. 

During his time his work has resulted in the seizures of the following: 

• 119 grams of Methamphetamine

• 1.1 grams of Fentanyl

• 118 grams of controlled pills

• 1377.4 grams of synthetic marijuana

• 217 grams of marijuana

• 2.3 grams of cocaine

“Detective Millender has consistently demonstrated remarkable proactivity and dedication to his role," said EPD Chief Danny Christ.
