Eufaula will join Birmingham and Florence in hosting a New City Application Workshop for Main Street Alabama on Jan. 28.Â
The workshops outline how to become a Main Street Alabama Designated Community and its revitalization programs through the "Main Street Four-Point Approach®".Â
"The Designation program is a significant milestone for communities aiming to revitalize their core districts and foster economic growth," said a press release from the program. "Main Street Alabama’s rigorous selection process ensures that designated communities access expert guidance, resources, and tools with a proven track record of success."
Though the workshops are free to attend, registration is required, which can be done at www.mainstreetalabama.org.Â
The workshop will be held at the Eufaula Chamber of Commerce, located at 333 East Broad Street, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.Â
