University of Alabama (UA) student Bri’Anna Lowe of Selma was among 23 apparel design seniors to present their collections at the annual Fashion for Life showcase at the Bama Theatre in Tuscaloosa on Nov. 16.

"Drawing on the knowledge and skills gained throughout the program, students designed and produced cohesive collections that reflect industry-level expectations," said a press release from UA.

"The development process, along with the planning and execution of the show itself, mirrors the professional realities they will encounter as they enter the apparel industry after graduation."

The event raised funds that were matched by Estee Lauder Companies and donated to United Way of West Alabama.

More information about the showcase can be seen on UA's website here.
