Wilcox vs Greensboro

Wilcox Central found rhythm late but couldn’t overcome an early deficit Thursday night, falling 46–14 at home to Greensboro in region play.

Greensboro jumped out to a 20–0 lead in the first quarter and extended it to 26–0 by halftime. The Jaguars struggled to move the ball early but found success in the fourth quarter with a 65-yard touchdown pass followed by a 2-point conversion. Their quarterback later added a 2-yard rushing touchdown to cap the scoring for Wilcox Central.

Despite the loss, the Jaguars showed fight in the second half, moving the ball more effectively and tightening their defense at times.

Wilcox Central (0–6) will look to regroup as they continue region play against Southside next week. Greensboro will play Thorsby.
