Live HealthSmart Alabama will conduct health surveys inquiring about the health of residents of Demopolis at the Theo Ratliff Activity Center on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration and appointments are welcome but not necessary.
“We survey the public to ask them what barriers they experience to being healthy and what needs they see would help their community be healthier," said Teresa Shufflebarger, chief administrative officer.
"We pay the survey participant for their time and the aggregated results help us decide where built environment changes are most prioritized (like the pond and walking trail in Selma) and where we locate such assets as the mobile grocery and wellness events.”
Theo Ratliff Activity Center is located at 306 1st Avenue in Demopolis.
