Two representatives from Marion Military Institute (MMI) were part of a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

MMI students and cross country athletes Cadet Battalion Commander Ben Stewart and Honor Guard Commander Rett Draiss represented the school during the ceremony.

"Going to lay the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was really such a big honor for me," said Draiss in a post on MMI's Facebook page. "It's definitely going to be one of the coolest things I will do for a really long time. It was just beautiful walking through the graveyard and seeing all the people who gave up their lives for this country."
