Candlelight vigil

Several events will be held in Montgomery County for Crime Victims’ Rights Month in April. 

See below for a schedule: 

April 21

At 6:30 p.m. the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office will hold “An Evening of Remembrance" vigil for people lost to violence at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl on 220 Hall Street. Anyone who would like a photo of a loved one in the memorial tribute can send them to victimsvigil@mc-ala.org.

April 23

“Give Blood. Give Hope. Stand With Victims.” The Montgomery County DA’s Office will hold a community blood drive at the Montgomery County Annex 1 on 100 South Lawrence Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

April 26

VOCAL’s Resource Fair and Candlelight Vigil will host “One Heart in the Park” at the Union Station Train Shed on 300 Water Street from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

April 30

“Interfaith Prayer Service” hosted by One Place Family Justice Center’s Sexual Assault Prevention Month Program at 6 p.m. at Immanuel Presbyterian Church on 8790 Vaughn Road.
