Montgomery Fire & Rescue (MFR) District Chief Craig Flynn marked 40 years with the department as he officially retired on Saturday, May 16.Â
An announcement from MFR said that he joined on May 16, 1986.Â
"For four decades, Chief Flynn has answered the call, led from the front, mentored generations of firefighters, and helped shape Montgomery Fire Rescue into what it is today," said the statement. "From countless emergency responses to unforgettable moments throughout his career, his impact has been felt across this department and throughout our community."
