Do not cross III

A 17-year-old from Montgomery was killed in a car wreck in Chilton County that occurred on Saturday afternoon. 

According to a statement from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) the juvenile was driving a 2011 Nissan Altima. At approximately 6:15 p.m. the car left the road and went down a steep embankment before overturning. 

"The youth was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene," said ALEA's report. 

The crash took place on Chilton County 16, approximately two miles north of Plantersville.
