Selma to Montgomery Route

The National Park Service's (NPS) Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail will celebrate National Public Lands Day at the Lowndes Interpretive Center on Saturday, Sept. 23. 

National Public Lands Day will be commemorated by the NPS along with local recreational and health organizations. The event is titled "Healthy Parks, Healthy People" and focuses on recreation at national park sites. 

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the center located on 7002 U.S. Highway 80 West in Hayneville.
