A home attached to a unique 1800s church tower is up for sale for nearly $1.3 million.
Foxcotte Tower was rebuilt in 2005, with owners at the time choosing to incorporate the 1840s church tower into the house.
The Grade II listed home now provides access to the tower via the original stair turret - where its current owners use the space as a study.
According to archaeologist Andrew D. Russel, the church was pulled down, aside from the tower, in 1907 - with the turret remaining to act as a mortuary chapel.

Excavations on the site were carried out between 1979 and 1981, where Russel's team discovered "a number of medieval and post-medieval structures and associated artifacts."
Today, the property also consists of four bedrooms, a kitchen, open-plan living and dining room, front and rear terraces, and is listed by Savills with a guide price of £995,000.
The listing describes the home as "exceptional and beautifully presentedā¦seamlessly blending period character with modern luxury."
Its tower "showcases exquisite craftsmanship with its knapped, squared flint construction and elegant Bath Stone dressings.

"It is perfectly complemented by the stylish flint grey, square paned windows of the modern extension with free-flowing open plan living spaces."
Giles Muddle of Savills Winchester comments: āFoxcotte Tower is a truly stunning home with fabulous living spaces in a unique setting.
"It will make a great home for someone looking for contemporary luxury with the added delight of its historic tower and rural views.ā
