Oh deer!
A crew from Redbridge Fire Station in Hampshire came to the rescue of a young deer with its hip stuck in a metal fence.
Shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday, June 2, firefighters were alerted to the animal in distress on Vermont Close in Southampton.
A Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue statement said: "The fawn was on the fence about which way to go!
"The firefighters had a good i-deer to use their hydraulic spreader equipment to bend the metal providing the space for the fawn to release itself.
"The animal returned to its mother who was waiting nearby having deer-ly missed its child, but had grown fawn-d of their firefighter heroes, who returned to station at around half four."
