Perry County High School Alumni Association elects leaders

In early March the Perry County High School Alumni Association Board of Directors elected Diane Harrison of Marion as its president, following the retirement of its previous president Sherry Barton.

Harrison has served on the board for 21 years and has been the registration chair for a number of years, said a press release from the association, which elected other leaders.  

"John Anderson of Marion, Vice President, and Kathi Belcher of Brent, Treasurer, were re-elected to their offices," the release said. "Freda H. Roberts of Marion was elected as Secretary and Nina Pope of Marion was elected Director."

"Other Directors of the association continue in their positions. They are Judy Barton, Sherry Barton, Glynward Coley, Joanne Dozier, Ada Jean Holifield, Sallie Hubbard, Thomasine Royster, Cynthia Stewart, Paul Wheeler, all of Marion and Wallace Belcher of Brent and Jim Robertson, of Helena."

On April 30 the association will hold an annual meeting and fish fry at the high school building.
