R.C. Hatch dropped a tough region matchup Friday night, falling 40–0 to University Charter at home in Uniontown.

University Charter out of Livingston took control early, scoring on its first two possessions and keeping Hatch’s offense in check throughout the night. The Bobcats fought to gain momentum but were unable to break through against the visitor's defense.

The loss moved Hatch to 2-4 for the season, while University Charter improved its standing with another strong performance. Hatch will look to bounce back next week when they play Francis Marion.
