A second arrest has been made in the January shooting death of a 2-year-old in Meadowbrook, according to the Wilcox Progressive Era.
Ja’Keydin Powell, 19, turned himself in to authorities. He is charged with murder, felony murder and reckless discharging of a weapon into a building or vehicle, the Progressive Era reported.
The Wilcox County and Clarke County sheriff departments arrested Deldric Berry, also known as Little D, at his home in Fulton on June 30. He was indicted by jury in connection with the shooting. He is charged with murder, felony murder and discharging a weapon into a building or vehicle.Â
According to the Progressive Era, the mother of the child who was shot told police she was driving when someone started shooting. The child was the only person hit.
