Selma Charity League is hosting a 1920s-themed Casino Night on April 26 to raise money for Selma-Dallas County Public Library’s summer program.
The casino night will be held at Sturdivant Hall starting at 7 p.m. and feature casino games, a drawdown raffle and complimentary beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres with a $40 ticket.Â
With the ticket price, attendees will get $250 worth of play money for the games. Tickets can be purchased from any Selma Charity League member.Â
Proceeds will benefit the Selma-Dallas County Public Library’s Summer Learning Program, which serves approximately 6,000 children annually. The program provides reading enrichment, arts programming, and traveling exhibitions that inspire and educate the community’s youth.
