Selma High School has received a $24,000 donation from members of the Selma High School Alumni Association.

A check was presented to Principal Stoney Pritchett during a meeting of the Selma City Schools Board of Education on Tuesday.

The funding will go to the high school's athletics program that includes the "Band of the Blue."

"These funds were raised by dedicated classes during the recent Saints Fest 2025, showcasing our community's commitment to supporting our students and their success," said a post on social media by Selma City Schools.
