Headquartered in Montgomery, Seraaj Family Homes is recruiting foster parents for its youths of ages 0 to 21.Â
Seraaj Family Homes is a therapeutic organization for youths who are currently in foster care. It provides services in Alabama and Maryland.Â
"With the family at the center of its focus, SFH provides services to heal and reunite the family unit," said an email from the group. "SFH provides therapy for families and youth, encourages its foster parents to support their biological parents on the best parenting practices for their youth, while connecting parents to community resources, and more."
"When reunifying a child with their biological family is undoable, then SFH facilitates long-term fostering or adoption, with an emphasis on keeping biological family ties open, if safe and possible."
