Selma Housing Authority

Selma Housing Authority (SHA) has been awarded a $272,250 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The grant was awarded through the Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Program, said an announcement from SHA. It will be accepted through the Grants Management Module after the issuance of the Notice of Award (NOA).

The funds will be used for employee assistance, financial literacy, resident support services, and life skills and training.

"This continued support allows us to further empower residents with services and programs designed to promote employment, self-sufficiency, and long-term success," said a post on social media by SHA.
