Sewell presents check to J. Paul Jones Hospital

Rep. Terri Sewell presented a check on Monday for $595,041 to officials in Wilcox County for needs at J. Paul Jones Hospital in Camden.

“This federal investment will help ensure that residents of Wilcox County will continue to have access to the quality health care services that this hospital provides,” Sewell said on social media.

The funding that was part of a $42,820,760 package for local projects mostly in the Black Belt area. The portion for J. Paul Jones Hospital went toward facilities and equipment to modernize the hospital's laboratory department and allow seamless communication with other data systems, reducing manual workload.
