On Wednesday Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) will host a Rural Health Roundtable in Demopolis as part of National Public Health Week.Â
The roundtable will feature rural health care providers and hospital administrator to talk about services in rural communities and federal cuts to health programs.Â
Sewell will discuss her Maternal Vaccination Act, the Save Struggling Hospitals Act, and the recently enacted Nancy Gardner Sewell Multi-Cancer Early Detection Act.
Additionally, Sewell will visit DaVita Kidney Care in Demopolis and receive a briefing on the preserving dialysis services in rural areas.Â
