Vaughan Regional Medical Center has named Nathan Yun, MBA, MSA, CHFP, as its new Chief Financial Officer or CFO, replacing interim Joel Snook.
According to a press release from VRMC Yun previously served as CFO of Kansas Medical Center in Wichita, KS, and has more than 20 years of experience in the financial field.
“Nathan brings a wealth of financial and healthcare experience to Vaughan Regional, and we are excited to welcome him to our team,” said Michael James, CEO of VRMC. “His financial leadership in hospital settings has driven improved operational efficiency, financial performance, growth, and access to care – outcomes important to all hospitals, including Vaughan. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to his contributions to our continued success and sustainability."
Yun is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) and holds a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Kansas, said the press release.
Yun began on Sept. 9.
“This is a great opportunity to help lead a quality hospital so essential to its surrounding communities,” said Yun. “I’m doing my best to hit the ground running and look forward to getting to know the team at Vaughan as well as the people we serve in Selma/Dallas County.”
