The Wilcox Farm Service Agency for USDA is accepting applications through July 7 for emergency need after the March 26 tornado that struck the area.

Farm Service Executive Director JaMarkus Crowell said they are taking applications for the Emergency Forest Restoration Program to address damage from the tornado that hit Wilcox County in March.

Signup started June 5 and ends July 7.

EFRP provides payments to owners of nonindustrial private forest land to restore land damaged in a natural disaster.
