Beverly Pigg, age 73, of Brandenton, FL, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024, in Phenix City, AL, surrounded by the warmth and love of her cherished family. Born on October 30, 1950, Beverly was a beam of light in the lives of everyone who knew her.
As a dedicated textile worker at Bibb Mill, Beverly showed her industrious and skillful nature. Her loving and funny character made her a delight to be around, and her adventurous spirit often found her fishing and camping, embracing the great outdoors that she adored so much.
Beverly's legacy of love and laughter is carried on by her adoring family. She leaves behind a sister, June Petty, who will fondly remember Beverly's indomitable spirit and the joy she brought into every room. She is also survived by her daughter, Melinda Puckett, and her son, Howard Watkins. Her grandchildren, Tyler, Brayden, Andrew, and Jackson Watkins, along with Elizabeth and Kurtis Puckett, will forever cherish the times they spent with their grandmother who always found ways to make an ordinary day feel like an adventure. She will also be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren, Bradley Robertson, Athena, Deliah, Damian Puckett, and Summer and Jace Leverett, each holding precious memories of their beloved great-grandmother.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Charles Stewart, and mother, Grace Stewart.
