Janice Theresa Camp. age 71, of Smiths Station, Alabama, passed away Sunday, February 18th, 2024, at her home.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024, 10:00 am ET at Colonial Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Greer officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Janice was born in Columbus, Georgia on April 24, 1952 to the late Grady and Clyde Marie Holmes. She retired from East Alabama Medical Center with 15 years service as a caring nurse. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, beach trips, her dogs, Auburn football, and sweet tea. She was a member of the VFW, and above all she was lovingly devoted to her children. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Cecil Camp; a son, Walter Lee Osborn; 2 sisters; Mildred Vela and Shirley Glover; and 3 brothers; Charles Holmes, Albert Holmes, and Gene Holmes.

Survivors include her children; Chris Camp (Gina), Shane Camp (Jennifer), and Jax Camp (Katie); grandchildren; Kai Camp, Brandy Camp, Brittany Camp, and Jamie Osborn; great granddaughter, Angel Osborn; brothers; Larry Holmes and Wilbur Holmes; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
