Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) will announce funding from the National Park Service for buildings at Selma University and Tankersley Rosenwald School in Hope Hull on Monday, Oct. 28. 

Sewell will present a $750,000 check to Selma University President Dr. Stanford E. Angion to preserve the school's historic Foster Hall. This presentation will be made at 11:30 a.m. at the hall located on 1501 Boynton Street.

At 2 p.m. Sewell will present another $750,000 to Dean of the Auburn University College of Architecture, Design and Construction, Dawn Finley, and Assistant Professor Gorham Bird to rehabilitate Tankersley Rosenwald School in Hope Hull.

The school is located on 198 School Spur Road.
