Missouri quarterback Beau Pribula remains doubtful for Saturday’s game at No. 8 Oklahoma, according to the Tigers’ initial injury report.
It’s the same designation he carried last week before being ruled out 90 minutes before kickoff. Pribula has been practicing with limitations and was seen throwing and moving without an ankle brace before the Mississippi State game, but he must clear full medical protocol before returning to action.
Since Pribula’s injury Oct. 25 at Vanderbilt, true freshman Matt Zollers has started at quarterback for Mizzou.
Mizzou adds another DB to Class of 2026
MU added another key piece to its 2026 recruiting class Wednesday, securing a verbal commitment from three-star athlete Jayden McGregory, who announced he is flipping from Louisville to the Tigers.
McGregory, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound defender from Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa, had been committed to the Cardinals since July. Missouri was heavily involved in his recruitment early, hosting him on an official visit in June and remaining in contact even after he chose Louisville. He returned to Columbia twice this fall, including for the Tigers’ narrow loss to Alabama, which helped swing his recruitment back in MU’s favor.
National composite rankings list McGregory as the No. 384 player in the 2026 class and the No. 4 prospect in Iowa. He projects as a safety at the next level and becomes the sixth defensive back to join Missouri’s class, continuing a clear emphasis on reshaping the secondary.
With McGregory on board, Missouri now holds 22 verbal commitments for 2026, a class that has more than doubled in size over the past two months. He’s the latest in a string of flips and decommitments Drinkwitz and his staff have capitalized on this fall as the early signing period approaches Dec. 3.
McGregory chose Missouri over offers from Kansas, Minnesota, Florida State and several others. He is expected to enroll early.
