AUSTIN, Texas (KTEN) - The Texas Longhorns struggle offensively, but pulled off a 27-10 win over the UTEP Miners!

Longhorns Quarterback Arch Manning finished just 11 for 25 through the air for 144 yards.

"It was frustrating, I know I'm better than this. It's a little frustrating, it will be hard to sleep tonight, but I'll be back rolling." Manning said.

You know, the passing game in week one was average. I thought last week was explosive and today, was, I don't even know if it was average." Longhorns Head Coach Steve Sarkisian said. "You know, I don't think it's about one player in particular. I just think it's about rhythm in the passing game overall in general."

Manning did find success on the ground with two touchdowns and 51 total yards, which is great for the offense, but Coach Sarkisian knows it needs to be used in moderation.

"When we have a little success with your legs, then you start to rely on your legs. And then, we are out of scheme and now we are just playing athlete football. Athlete football can get you so far, but sooner or later that catches up with you too."

Texas has just one more game before SEC Conference play, a lot to fix for the horns. But there's no panic in the locker room.

"If it was my friend, I would just tell him, 'hey, we got it. Trust me, we got it'. We are going to take care of business. We wake up at 5:30 every single morning to try to go execute what hasn't been executed in 20 years here at the University of Texas." Texas Senior Safety Michael Taaffe said.
