Today's Three Questions are with... Emefa Butler, executive director of C.H.O.I.C.E in Uniontown.
1) Where are you from in the Black Belt and what are some favorite childhood memories of your town
I’m from Uniontown, AL (Perry County). My favorite childhood memory is going to Uniontown Middle School. This is where I began to find out who I was and what I wanted to be.  My sixth grade math teacher, Marilyn Lewis, would talk me on many adventures includes summer camps.Â
2) What do you do now as a career or a passion?
As a career, I currently Manager within the Technical Support Center at Protective Life. Â Purposefully and passionately, I serve as the Founder and Executive Director of CHOICE.
3) What do you hope for the Black Belt?
It is my hope that the potential within the Blackbelt will be awaken and serve as the strength of its growth and stability. From a stronger educational system to necessities such as broadband, I hope a great bandwidth of community will join hands and lead forward.Â
