The ongoing investigation into the murder of Yvette Carter in Montgomery in 2023 has prompted an increase of the cash reward for information to $7,000.Â
According to CrimeStoppers 215 STOP Carter was killed in a shooting at the 4900 block of Hatton Avenue on Feb. 11, 2023.Â
It is believed that three suspects were involved. They were wearing hoodies, with one carrying an apparent rifle. A vehicle was captured on surveillance described as a black sedan with no tint and factory rims before the shooting.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Montgomery Police Department at 334-241-2651 or the MPD's Investigations Department at 334-625-2831 or 334-625-2843.
