The playoff picture is starting to take shape after seven weeks of football in the Black Belt. Here are the Week 7 scores.
Selma 36, Montevallo 10
The Saints led 8-3 after the first quarter and gradually stretched the lead, scoring in every quarter.
Patrician Academy 38, Morgan Academy 30
The Senators fell behind 20-0 before posting a 1-yard touchdown in the second quarter, then trailed 26-8 at halftime. Morgan rallied in the second half and held Patrician scoreless  in the fourth quarter, but the lone fourth quarter touchdown for the Senators wasn't enough. Morgan ran four more plays than Patrician, had fewer penallties and penalty yards, and held the ball more than six minutes longer.
Demopolis 29, Shelby County 27
The Tigers rode three passing touchdowns of 9, 10 and 21 yards from J.W. McAlpine to Fred Aldridge and a rushing touchdown by Jamarcus Davis to the win. Shelby tied the game at 21, but never led after Demopolis tied the game at 7. Read a full story here.
Greene County 30, Aliceville 12
Greene County took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and were never threatened by Aliceville.
Montgomery Academy 38, Trinity Presbyterian 12
MA held a 14-0 lead it took in the first quarter into the fourth quarter, when both teams produced a flurry of scores.
Booker T. Washington 26, St. James 6
St. James pulled within 7-6 in the third quarter, but couldn't score again against Washington.
Houston Academy 21, Alabama Christian 14
ACA fell behind 14-0 at the half and 21-6 in the fourth quarter, and the rally fell short at the final horn.
